We’ve been pretty busy visiting with everyone in Rhode Island. We went to the South Shore Beach in Little Compton two times already, once with just Elias and once with Willow’s whole family and Bob and Jo. We also went to the Tiverton town beach. The girls love the water. They love the excitement of the waves and finding small fish and hermit crabs in the ponds and bay beach, as well as finding shells along the beach. Another activity we did was to visit the Roger Williams Park in Providence. We went on the carousel, the playground, and the swan paddle boat. We also dorve along Route 1 and through Newport. Each night, Willow has been fixing us a delicious dinner, so it’s been a real vacation for us. Yesterday we drove into Boston and walked around Boston Common and the Public Garden. Then we picked Hannah up from the hospital where she works and went to her house for dinner. It was great to catch up with her. Today we are driving into Newport to walk around, then coming back for an early dinner, and Elias, Willow and I are going to take one last trip to the beach. We are heading to Tennessee tomorrow night after dinner.
