Yesterday was the warmest day yet for this year. It was about 70 degrees. I have class on Saturday mornings and Karen also had a class yesterday. When I got to my school the substitute instructor we were suppose to have didn’t show up. So we all waited till about 20 minutes past class time and then decided to leave. When I got home, Mark, who was watching the girls, took the girls on a walk to the park. Later the girls and I went to a park and ate a picnic lunch and played for several hours.
There was a chance that Karen’s class was only going to be a half day. When she got there she found out she could attend just half a day and do some extra work or stay for the entire day. In the end she decided to leave and meet me and the girls at the park. The kids played and Karen and I enjoyed laying in the sun on a blanket. We ended our fun in the sun with some ice cream from Sonic.
Today it is below 30 degrees and snowing. We are going to take the kids sledding after lunch. Colorado winters are GREAT!
