Well on Saturday morning I had my class. Math from 8:00am till 12:40. Makes it a really long morning. Well after my class, Karen picked me up and we all we to the zoo. We spent the rest of the day there. Karen’s friend Kristen came later in the day and met us. We ended up staying until closing. We forgot to take the camera with us, so no pics.
Today we got up and went on a hike at Castlewood Canyon State Park. We got there at about 10:30 or so, and started our hike on the Lake Gulch Trail. After hiking for about 1 mile, the trail intersects with the Inner Canyon. We continued on this trail which leads out of the canyon back to the parking area. The hike overall was nearly two miles. Mythili and Isabella both hiked the entire time.
Below is a Google map that shows the hike we did. I of course took along my GPS and recorded our hike. I was then able to download the track log from my GPS to EveryTrail. EveryTrail is a web service that allows you to upload GPS data and pictures. Using the data you can create trips to share with other people. It can be hiking, road trips, boating, or any other activity. Check out the website if you are interested in creating your own. Oh and the service is free. Check out the pictures we took by clicking on the camera icons within the map.
